GO-TO BIRTHDAY PARTY GIFTS

Go To Birthday Party Gifts

New to the preschool birthday party circuit?

I’ve got some tips for you.

Tips:

It’s ok to politely decline. You don’t need to drag your child to every party they are invited to. I promise it won’t impact their street cred. one way or another.

Be sensitive to your child’s temperament and comfort-zone. It can be overwhelming to a little one to see their friends out of context. Give them a while to warm up, if that’s what they need.  Your child might not know what to expect from a birthday party, so tell them ahead of time! We all feel better walking into a social setting with a good sense of who will be there and what’s on the agenda.

Remember that attending a birthday party is a lot on a little one’s senses.  Yes, it can be loads of fun, but they are often tired and need to crash afterwards.  Do yourself a favor and try not schedule a ton of errands or a playdate post birthday party.  Trust me on this one.
